Bedecked Antlers

From Penny Black - 2002. I've not really used this stamp much in the past. I'm pleased with the results with Copics though - nice and bright!

Red Berries

Found some papers and greetings from last Christmas - from Craftwork Cards - thought I would give them an outing! The hedgehog is Penny Black (as if you didn't know!)

Christmas Snowman

A change of look for this little guy - coloured in copics this time. The papers are from DCWV (Rose Tinted Christmas).

Forever Friends

A quick and easy card - papers are forever friends too!

Magical Santa

Not sure I like this so much but it was hard to concentrate - or maybe it's because this is such a difficult stamp to make look bright like you would expect Santa to be!

Penny Black "Angel Cat"

Another christmas card! This time its a Penny Black - Angel Cat - coloured with Copics - they are so quick to use! Papers on this card are Blond Moments - Festive Feast.

Sugar Nellie - Snow Cozy

This little guy is lovely! He's from the new christmas collection by Sugar Nellie - he's called "Snow Cozy". The papers used on this card are from DCWV (last years Christmas Stack). He's coloured with watercolour pencils and finished off with a wee touch of stickles - Crystal and Waterfall.

Berry Berry Christmas

First Penny Black christmas coloured with Copics.

Brrrr...

This could well be my favourite Christmas stamp from Elzybells. She's coloured with Copics (Pale Lilac, Mauve Shadow and Prune). With a wee touch of stickles to finish it off!

newest addition to the family

Our dear bramble died at the start of June and our house doesn't feel complete without her. Now that we have moved and got holidays out of the way we have decided to add to our family - hopefully by 2 (cats!!).

This little lady is the first of our new cats - she was a stray and is two years old. She's gorgeous! Her name is "Kismet" - how lovely to mean Destiny or Fate. I don't think we will change it but we might call her Kizzy for short.

She's just settling into her new home at the moment and finding her way about. She has a very loud meow! so I'm guessing she will be the boss!

Let it snow

Second attempt! Used the cuttlebug for embossing and also to cut the sizzlits and nestabilities. Added bling with some jewels and some stickles. The backing paper is from the new Forever Friends Christmas Snow pack. She is coloured with watercolour pencils.

First Christmas Card this year!

I'm really not a big fan of christmas cards - always get stuck for inspiration! I'm hoping that this year will be different so here is my starter for ten!!

Simple Pleasures

This is my first card for ages - even with being away on holiday last week!

I think "Simple Pleasures" works as a name for this one very well! I've used paper piecing on this on for the bubbles and bath tub. The colouring is done using Copic Ciao markers. The flowers are Prima Esprit and the scalloped edge is done using a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch. The papers are from a pack of Blue and Raspberry by Deja Views.

Pendant

Something a wee bit different for me - playing around with some swarovski beads and pearls. It's not clear from the pic but the centre bead is a clear swarovski drop measuring about 4cm. The rest of the beads are pearls, crystal AB and jet black. Its on a 34 inch drop chain. Makes a change from cards!

I haven't crafted for ages!

Which one of the many excuses for not crafting? No time? No inclination? Who knows :-( probably both. I hope it passes though! I'm now looking forward to my first holiday of this year (as you can't count moving house). I might even take some craft bits and bobs with me! Maybe some craft shopping would inspire me?! I must admit to being just a wee bit excited about the new range of stamps and papers from Forever Friends! They have two christmas ranges in the collection - I never enjoy doing christmas cards - don't know why!

On a non-crafty note - I've made a cheesecake this afternoon! A first for me!

oooh! New stamp!

I've been looking for this one for ages - it's by Stamps Happen - the image is by Caolyn Shores Wright. I think it will a real challenge to colour as the detail is amazing! Can't wait to have a go! It will be the first Christmas thing I've done!

Just a little note..

Made this as a quick wee thank you note for a colleague at work!
